New Employee of the Month
Recognition
Beginning January, 1993, Wesley
Long Employees of the Month will
receive some extra honors. In
addition to the recognition currently received, Employees of the
Month will be given a personalized
brass name plate to wear honoring them as Employee of the
Month. Also, the Employee of the
Month can select a gift from a
catalog containing a wide variety
of items.
Employees of the Month will also
have their photo and name included in Healthy Directions, the
hospital's quarterly newsletter to
the community.
Nomination forms are aviailable
outside the cafeteria (beside the
Employee of the Month bulletin
board), in the Kiser Building
Lounge, in the Personnel Department, and may be ordered
through the Purchasing Department. We are pleased to add
these extras honoring our employees.
Wesley Long Makes Contributions to Tax Deferred Annuity
Program
On January 18, 1993, Wesley
Long was pleased to contribute
$106,100.84 to the Tax Deferred
Annuity programs on behalf of
employees participating in the
plan.
Wesley Long matched $.25 on
every dollar that employees contributed up to 1% of salary. This
contribution was established to
assist employees in saving money
January 22, 1993
for future retirement needs and to
complement other retirement benefits provided by the Hospital.

Balloontines
Have a Valentine delivered to your
favorite co-worker, your Secret Pal
or someone you want to remember
this Valentine's Day. The Gift Shop
will deliver Balloontines on February
12th to anyone in the Hospital,
Kiser Building, or Child Care Center. The Balloontine consists of a
red heart shaped balloon attached
to a Russell Stover small heart
shaped box of candy - all for $3.50!
Place your order in the Gift Shop, or
by filling out the order coupon and
placing it in the inter-office mail
along with a check for $3.50 (no
cash please). Orders should be
received no later than Wednesday,
February 10.
Balloontines will be available as long
as supplies last, so order early.
They will be delivered by "Cupid"
volunteers between 6:00 a.m. and
4:00 p.m. on Friday, February 12,
only!
