MEDITATIONS Women's Auxiliary, Greensboro Branch, Guilford County Medical Society April, 1969 APRIL MEETING April Meeting: Wednesday, April 16 Place: YWCA 112 Gatewood Avenue High Point Time: 10:30-Punch Social Hour ll:00-Meeting New officers will be installed at the April meeting. Peggy Crutchfield, President Elect of the state Medical Auxiliary, will be the installing officer. Entertainment will be provided by a Junior League singing group. Folio Coffee Committee Chairman: Mrs. John Bradley CLOTHING FOR BUTNER Anyone having used men's and Womens clothing, call Dottie Rogers. This is urgently needed for patients at Butner. She will be glad to pick up if necessary. VOLUNTEER BUREAU The Volunteer Bureau is organizing a Friendly Visiting Plan for volunteer service. It is planned to visit the aged, lonely and shut-in Visits must be regular and consistent. A visitor would be expected to read, listen, write letters, and perhaps go on outings and errands. Anyone interested in this project is urged to call the Volunteer Bureau. NOTE OF THANKS Dear Friends, As we come to the end of a busy and rewarding auxiliary year, I want to thank you for your support and cooperation. Together we have accomplished a great deal and I think had some fun" along the way. It has been a real privilege to serve as president of the Medical Auxiliary. I shall always cherish the deepened friendships that resulted from working closely with many of you. We have fine leadership coming along.
