The Auxiliary To The
GUILFORD COUNTY MEDICAL SOCIETY
GREENSBORO BRANCH
August 26, 1968
Dear Friends,
Another summer has flown by and we are facing a new season of
activities and challenges. It is my pleasure to welcome you to the new
year of your Medical Auxilliary, and to extend a personal invitation to
join us for our meetings, for our times of fellowship, and for our
projects.
Members of your Board of Directors have spent a good many hours
during the summer making tentative plans for the coming year. These
will be presented to you for discussion, suggestions, and approval. We
hope that we will have your wholehearted support shown by your attendance
at meetings, participation in our activities, and by prompt payment of
dues. Our financial commitments of nursing scholarship funds and contributions for Mental Health and Medical Education are high, and surely among
the most worthwhile of our projects.
The Medical Auxilliary is one avenue through which we as doctors'
wives can make a real contribution to the health and health education
of our community. It is also an ideal avenue to increase friendships
among medical families.
We hope you will join us and look forward to working with you
this coming year.
Most sincerely,
Mrs. E. B. Spangler
