GUILFORD COUNTY MEDICAL AUXILIARY
Greensboro Branch 2322 Banbury Road
Greensboro, North Carolina

Dear Friends,
Medical Auxiliary meeting tine is here again! We're looking forward to
seeing old friends and making new ones at our first meeting in September.
During the summer your officers and committee chairmen have been busy preparing for the year ahead and they are filled with enthusiasm over these
plans.
Lib Morris has arranged programs both varied and informative. Circle now
the 3rd Tuesday of October, November, January and liarch. In October we will
be hostess to the Dental and Drug Auxiliaries and in April we will be guests
of the High Point Branch of the Auxiliary. Doctor's Day celebration is
scheduled for February 16, and Jean Spangler is already concocting the fareJ
Our State President's theme for the year is "Rainbow of Service". For
years our organization has pursued service as a goal so our continued work
in Community Service, Mental Health, History and Health Careers will not be
new to us. Our Projects Committee has been gathering worthwhile ideas and
let's resolve now to strive harder to accomplish more as our organization
grows in size and scope!
The Auxiliary will be only as good as you make it. Your officers and
committees represent YOU and promise to do their best to serve you and
carry out your ideas. Please feel free to express your suggestions to
help us. Note my telephone number - 274-2223 • as it is unlisted, and
use it to call me about questions, suggestions and constructive criticisms.
Our goal is a year filled with accomplishment, enjoyment and friendly
relationships. With your support we will succeed, I'm counting on each
of you.
Our first meeting is September 6, llt45 a.m., at the Kings Inn, The
program is a SURPRISE so don't miss it. Betty Alley's telephone committee
will call for your reservation. Remember, reservations made and left
uncanceled, must be paid.
Our enlarged scholarship program begins September 1, so please send your
dues promptly to Ceil Sue. Let's get the financial business over early
in the year so we can concentrate on other main interests. Also, dues
must be paid by members for them to receive the Yearbook and t!Meditations".
Postage and printing are costly items these days.
I'm looking forward to welcoming YOU at our first meeting - Tuesday,
September 6, 1966.
Cordially,
