On behalf of the Board of Trustees it is a pleasure
to inform you that your privileges to practice at The
Evergreens have been renewed for one year ending June 30,
1976. This is in accordance v/ith the Bylaws, Rules and
Regulations developed by the Medical Board and recently
adopted by the Board of Trustees. A copy is enclosed.
Your attention is directed to the requirement that
attending physicians visit patients in the Nursing Center ai
least once every thirty days for the first ninety days
after admission. Following this peroid, visits may be made
at sixty day intervals if the physician will document in
the chart that more frequent visits are not required
(Rules and Regulations, page 13), While there has been
noticeable improvement in this situation the problem does
persist. If we on the staff can be of assistance, please
contact us.
Officers of the Medical Board for the coming year are
J. W. Allgood, M.D., President; J. R. Warmoltz, M.D., Vice-
President; and H. R. Parker, II, M.D., Secretary.
The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospitals
has recently notified us that we have been reaccredited
for another two year peroid. We hope you share with us the
pride we feel in this recognition of quality care. We
sincerely appreciate the support that the medical and
dental communities have given. We will continue to work,
to justify that support.
