MEDITATIONS is the newsletter of the Greensboro branch of the Guilford County Medical Auxiliary. Its purpose is to inform Auxiliary members of meetings, projects,
and social events within the Auxiliary and also in the community, when space is
available. It is printed following the Auxiliary Board Meeting on the First Tuesday of each month excluding the summer months and December. Items to be included
in the newsletter must be. received the day of the Board meeting. The newsletter
is mailed to all wives of Greensboro physicians through November, The remainder
of the year it is mailed only to those who have paid membership dues.

PRESIDENT'S LETTER

I saw something strange the other day. They call it the sun.
Now I know what they mean when they say: "The Good Lord willin'
and the creak don't rise."
The ARTS IN THE PARK fund raising event is upon us. We need
^20% support. Bring your plants, baked goods, and most important?
your bodies for a few hours work, (see elsewhere for contact
people). This should be the best one yet.
Also, the THREE-D Luncheon is-on October 23. Reservations must be
in by October 13th. Let*s. make a good showing.
