WHAT'S HAPPENING AT WLCH. . . **Medical Office Building** Efforts continue relative to the construction of a medical office building (MOB). The Hospital has retained Michael Schiftan, President of DevCon Resources, as the developer; and Moser Mayer Phoenix Associates, PA, as the MOB architects. The wooded area between the outpatient parking lot and the employee parking lot has been identified as the probable site for construction; schematic drawings, to include floor plans and elevations, are currently being developed for physicians to review as they consider leasing space in the MOB. **Affiliation** Wesley Long Community Hospital continues to direct attention to the issue of affiliation. Approximately eighty (80) physicians attended one of two Physician Focus Groups scheduled to meet on December 4 and December 6, 1995. Nellie O'Gara, President, First Health Associates, facilitated the Physician Focus Groups at which time the objectives of affiliation options, and the concerns and issues of physicians were reviewed and discussed. The input from the Physician Focus Groups was to keep patient care in the Greensboro community. **Emergency Room Expansion** Efforts continue relative to the ER expansion/renovation project. The entire project is scheduled for completion this Fall.
