An index sheet is furnished with a tab for each of the above subjects. On the back of
each index sheet is printed an outline indicating the manner in which the data may be
compiled. These outlines are very valuable to the recording officer, as they suggest
methods of presenting corporation facts that are in general adapted to most of the
states. These suggestions are necessarily of a general nature because different
statutory provisions in the various states make it impossible to lay down rules that
will apply in each state.
This volume includes forms for payment of stock, transfer records, stockholders
ledger, dividend record, and index to general ledger. Suggestions for the use of
these forms are given on the back of the respective index sheets.
