Computer kiosk educates children
Middle school children can learn how the body works and how to stay healthy
from Moses Cone Health System's computerized health information kiosk at the
Natural Science Center of Greensboro. The kiosk, a permanent gift from the
organization to the center, was unveiled during Family Health Day, a special day
of free health programs. On Family Health Day, held Sept. 14, visitors to the
center learned about choosing the best fast foods, cardiopulmonary resuscitation
(CPR), how to be a good big brother or sister, preventing sports injuries, cancer
prevention and the difficulties of parenting. The gift of the kiosk supports the
organization's mission of community service.
