Employees give more than years to Moses Cone Hospital
In the hospital's early years,
Betty Horton, Mary Lou Roberts and Jenny Yow saw each other often. They parked in the same parking lot,
waved in the hallways and shared stories in the cafeteria. But as The Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital
expanded and the number of employees grew from several hundred to several thousand, they seldom crossed
paths—until recently.
At the 36th annual Employee Recognition and Awards Banquet, Betty, Mary Lou and Jenny shared the
spotlight. Honored for 35 years of service, the three were commended for their hard work and dedication to the
