Womyn -owned independent bookstore in the heart of downtown, next to the public
Library. Good selection with a groovy coffee shop.
Asheville Community Resource Center- 63 Lexington - downtown
Grand opening is March 21, but there are often events of folks there to check out,
so when its legendary you can say you were there right before it opened.

Rosetta's -111 Broadway - downtown (access from Broadway or Lexington Streets)
Womyn -owned yummy veggie/vegan deli style cafe, open late on weekend nights,
closes at 4PM on Sundays. Pretty cheap for good food.
Laughing Seed Cafe- 40 Wall Street - downtown
Excellent veggie/vegan restaurant that you'll spend $8-10 /person.
Salsa's - 6 Patton Ave- downtown
Awesome Caribbean food. Lots of vegan options. Think mango salsa and black bean/ shitake
Empanadas and fried plantains.

for your information...
Parking - park you ride over in the Kittredge lot (behind the theater). WWC security boasts
hefty fines for those parked in fire lanes or non-designated parking spots. Also, please don't
park on the grass.
florae* - if you need to store your things during the day, you may do so in the basement of
Bryson Gym. Please be courteous of the space as it is also the Community Bike Shop's space.
Ohildcor* - will be downstairs Gladfelter during workshops Saturday & Sunday.
Bathroom/ - are located on each floor in Jensen & Gladfelter (which includes Cannon Lounge),
& inside of Bryson Gym.
Shuttle - a 15-passenger van will be making a trip to Asheville Friday night to pick up attendees.
The shuttle will also run twice to town both Saturday & Sunday, as well as provide transportation
to the skate party at Tarwheels. (see shuttle schedule inside)

Breakfasts and lunches provide by Food Not Bombs & the Kitch'n Witches at no cost.
Homemade pizza will be available at Sage Cafe to purchase courtesy of WWC Bakery Crew.
medic/ ■ Medical attention will be available at all times in Jensen as well as in the Pavilion during meal:
Additionally, a golf cart marked with a big ol' red cross & equipped with first aid kit will \t circle campus
Security - will be available 24 HOURS A DAY. The security office is located diagonally
across the street from Gladfelter below Ogg Administration Building.In the case of an emergency,
you can call H-E-L-P (771-4357) on any campus phone to reach security.
Blue light Eneraencu Phone/- are located in the parking lots of Kittredge.
These phones are connected to 911 and campus security.
